PROJECT OVERVIEW
The goal was to create a playful, ‘fun-to-watch’ animated advertisement series, using the stop-motion technique for a fair-trade and organic coffee roastery.
By blending handcrafted animation with the brand’s ethical and artisanal values, the ads not only entertain but also highlight the authenticity and care that goes into every cup. This approach transforms everyday coffee moments into a lively visual story that resonates with socially conscious consumers.
STOP-MOTION PRODUCTION
The frame-by-frame production process for this stop-motion animation required a series of meticulous and highly creative steps.
Each coffee bean and the grinder were carefully adjusted in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of seamless movement when played in sequence. For the sample animations shown below, the total number of individual photographs captured exceeded 300.
